Michael Hasenfang Dreamy, otherworldly. It takes me back to my synthpop-shoegaze days, but almost like I am listening to it at the Road House in Twin Peaks. Hands down LOVE the first track. Very catchy and pulls you into the rest of the album as a whole. Almost a combo of best daydream and worst nightmare. A "Loveloss". Great job guys. Favorite track: Mist of Serenity.

Tether strung and carried up Stepping on a form piece Hung on a sling made of ice I'm brought to you My aura circling your terra A mist of serenity Scaling the climb to the body Streaming and ready Jumping off into your loom Letting go of the string My aura circling your terra A mist of serenity On the day only air moves Being still inside Holding onto you On the day only air moves Being still inside Holding onto you My aura circling your terra A mist of serenity

Ancestors 06:30
Spinning out on a web Fever runs red A cessation in judgement Broken and free Running, running away Time won't wait Where are you now? Easy on the eyes Insight, frame of design Reparation comes next Healing inside Stop running, running away Pretending to be lost Where are you now?
3.
Your salt drip feeds my energy Fingertip currents in triplets dividing I watch you climb my celestial staircase My lips diamond studs Volcano mouth glowing orange Your skin rips revealing sunlight I'll worship your energetic goddess Form you anew, form you anew My lips diamond studs Volcano mouth glowing orange
4.
Far away Patiently you wait Far away Patiently you wait Far away Patiently you wait Blood red moon Carriage of doom Blood red moon Carriage of doom It's your worth Sigil of birth Vesper turns Memory burns Living for the richest grave A candle that is melting Hold on Hold on Like a drop that collects itself On the edge of a branch I belong to you Blood red moon Far away Patiently you wait Far away Patiently you wait Far away Patiently you wait Blood red moon Carriage of doom Blood red moon Carriage of doom Help me reap River of sleep Vesper turns Memory burns Blood red moon Bleeding in a circle A body hangs above you Look on Look on I will rise and look inside To caress your shadow Folding onto you Blood red moon Blood red moon

about

Pythia, Torus Eyes’ debut EP, is a devotion to the goddess within us all. In homage to a divinity based on intuition and chance, our creation moves through boundaries and genre thresholds. Their writing style embodies classical architecture, trance inducing mood, and heady lyrical content, aiming to evoke a calm intensity.

The content in the dynamic four tracks reveals the compositional, lyrical and aesthetic prowess the duo possesses. Through the lens of carefully designed synthscapes, architectural chord progressions, retro-future driving drum machines and ear candy textures, their sound blends within immersive ambient soundscapes, moody synth pads, dance pop, italo disco, vocal harmonies and deep lyrics.

"The experience Pythia takes the listener on is a 22-minute swelling and ethereal soundscape through space and time and calls to mind the sensation of beginning something new and unfamiliar, but comforting all the same. Not quite a dream state, though not fully awake, Torus Eyes accomplishes the equivalent of a pulsing torch amid traveling a dark and uncertain terrain. The opening track, "Mist of Serenity," feels every bit a call to a higher power to reveal itself, and on "Ancestors," Solomon begs repeatedly "Where are you now?" as if to conjure past lives and those who lived them." - Detroit Metro Times
